High Purity Gases
Al Rahim Gases Serve Helium, Argon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Dry Air, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen and similar gases with 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0 Grade purity, pressurized cylinders and liquid containers.
We carry out the filling processes of these gases into cylinders and liquid cylinders. We can fill the gases we offer in various cylinder sizes.
GASES
Oxygen
Oxygen is obtained on a commercial scale by the liquefaction and subsequent distillation of air.
Nitrogen
Nitrogen is produced in large quantities at air separation plants which liquefy and subsequently distil air into oxygen and argon.
Carbon Dioxide
Carbon dioxide is recovered from many different sources. It is obtained as an off-gas from fermentation processes.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide is obtained most commonly by the thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate.
Argon
The most common source of argon is an air separation plant. Air contains approx. 0.93% (vol.) argon.
Acetylene
Acetylene is manufactured commercially by reaction between calcium carbide and water.
Helium
The primary source of helium is from natural gas wells. It is obtained by a liquefaction and stripping operation.
Hydrogen
Most frequently produced for on-site usage by steam reforming of natural gas. Other sources are electrolysis plants.
